Overview
BTL Composite PU College is situated in a spacious campus of 2.75 acre at Kesare, Naidunagar Mysore, Established in the year 2011 under the initiative of providing quality and cost-effective education to students of all sectors of the society at an affordable fee structure and to facilitate quality education as a fundamental right and not a burden to the society. We take special care in recruiting our faculty and we have lecturers who have received their graduation and post-graduation from the best universities across the State with distinction. We are located amidst the nature in a healthy, serene and peaceful environment to make learning better. We encourage our students in co-curricular activities and sports and provide training in Computer skills, Spoken English and Career Development to mold them into a complete professional. We do not charge any donation and only a nominal tuition fees is charged with Installment options of 3 installments in an academic year.
FOUNDER CHAIRMAN
Late Prof.B.T Lakshman (Delaware U.S.A.,)
08-06-1934 to 16-09-2016
Prof. B.T Lakshman was born and brought up in a modest family in Huluvenahalli, Karnataka. He obtained M.E from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee (was earlier know as University of Roorkee) and M.S from University of Delaware. He was a Civil Engineer by profession and he served as a Chief Engineer at Artesian Water Company, Delaware USA. The hardships he faced during his growing up years and the struggles he faced to receive his education gave him a vision of providing quality education to students from Rural areas and weaker section at affordable fees. This vision persuaded him to Found BTL Educational Trust for Rural Development in 1979, headquartered at Bommasandra, Bangalore.
He founded BTL PU College at Kesare, Mysore in 2011 in order to provide education affordably and reachable to people of all sections of the society. He has the credit of educating several students who are placed in high positions of the society today.
CHAIRMAN
Ms.Apoorva Lakshman
Apoorva Lakshman is the daughter of Founder Chairman Late. B.T Lakshman. She has done her MBA in Human Resource Management from University of Mysore. She believes in introducing new methods in education and employee management. She sees that no student is deprived from receiving the exposure they need to receive and that they get all facilities irrespective of their background , religion, caste, creed.

We at BTL aim at making quality education available to all students irrespective of caste,creed,religion, social status etc., Each individual has the Right to study what they desire and achieve what they aim for in life and finance or social stigmas must not be an obstacle for them to succumb to and forget their dreams. We try to make each one realize their dream by benefitting them with various facilities and exposures which will help them set aims and mold their future without financial burden as well.

ECBA- Economics, Computer Science, Business Studies, Accountancy
English is compulsory as the First Language.
Kannada and Hindi are available as options for Second Language.

Fee Structure
I PUC
₹15,000/- per year
1st Installment: ₹7,500/- to be paid at time of admission.
2nd Installment: ₹3,750/- to be paid before September 30th of the academic year.
3rd Installment: ₹3,750/- to be paid before December 1st of the academic year.
II PUC
₹13,000/- per year
1st Installment: ₹6,500/- to be paid before academic year commences.
2nd Installment: ₹3,250/- to be paid before September 30th of the academic year.
3rd Installment: ₹3,250/- to be paid before December 1st of the academic year.

Events
- Annual Day will be held every year in the month of January.
- All patriotic festivals are celebrated.
- Kannada Rajyothsava is celebrated every year. Ms Ranjani Raghavan, famous television star and author was invited as the guest for Kannada Rajyothsava 2021.
- Fun fares and Science Exhibitions are conducted every year.
Rules and Regulations
- Students must be present 15mind before class commences.
- Late comers will not be entertained.
- 80% of attendance in each subject is mandatory to receive hall ticket.
- Students must be participative in class.
- Long absentees will be suspended.
- Fees must be paid by any Parent or Sibling of the student only.
- Fee must be paid within specified deadline only.
- No concession will be given to any student as we are charging minimum fees only.
- Vandalism, bad behavior or conduct by any student on lecturers or other students will not be entertained and the student will be suspended immediately in such cases.
